iPhone 5 to be released in October, claims AT&T VP

An AT&T Vice President has told several employees that a new iPhone is set for an early October release, says to “Expect things to get really really busy over the next 35 to 50 days”.

Boy Genius Report claims that an AT&T VP has confirmed to several employees that the next iPhone is expected to be releases by early October. He says to several managers to expect things to get really busy over the next 35 to 50 days. With iOS 5 beta 6 out, it is clear that Apple want’s to ship the new iPhone with iOS 5.

The new iPhone is expected to have 1GB of RAM, and the A5 processor that is found in the iPad 2. It is also rumoured to have LTE support, 3D video and a brand new case design with no home button.

Apple is expecting to announce the iPhone 5 in September, along with its new iPod lineup.
