Introducing the new winbeta metro app, read our news on windows 8 and windows rt! - onmsft. Com - december 26, 2012

Its finally here. Our very own WinBeta Metro app. Now you can sit on the couch and read our latest news on your Windows RT or Windows 8 device. The app is very simple and provides you with a simple rss reader that fetches the newest stories and even automatically updates the feed every other minute in case a new story is available.

There is even integration with the Share contract, so you can quickly email a story you read. We have even added the ability to read the story you are viewing in the app or simply take you to winbeta.org to read it. This is the apps very first release and in the future, we plan on making it work with the Snap feature, as well add other neat little features to improve your reading experience. Take a look at the screenshots below and hit the download link below to grab the WinBeta Metro app from the Windows Store. We are also adding a link to this app on our sidebar so you can download it anytime you want!
