Intel has introduced its Big Battlemage GPUs under the Arc Pro B70 and B65 lineup, and early results already show how much performance the new B70 brings over the previous B60, even though Intel positions these cards mainly for workstation and AI workloads rather than gaming.
Level1Techs published one of the first reviews after testing multiple Arc Pro B70 cards, and the results include gaming benchmarks that matter because these GPUs run on the same driver stack as Intel’s consumer Arc graphics cards, which means users can expect similar compatibility and behavior in games.
Arc Pro B70 gaming performance

Across six gaming benchmarks, the Arc Pro B70 delivers a clear jump in performance over the B60, with an average gain of around 45 percent in both frame rates and 1 percent lows, and this improvement holds steady across different resolutions and titles.
The tests include demanding games such as Monster Hunter Wilds, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, and the B70 maintains a consistent lead at both 1080p and 1440p, which shows that the gains are not limited to a single scenario.
Benchmark comparison
| Game | Settings | B70 Avg FPS | B60 Avg FPS | Avg FPS Gain |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monster Hunter Wilds | Medium, 1440p | 55 | 37 | +48.6% |
| Monster Hunter Wilds | Medium, 1080p | 70 | 50 | +40.0% |
| Shadow of the Tomb Raider | Highest, 1440p | 148 | 100 | +48.0% |
| Shadow of the Tomb Raider | Highest, 1080p | 204 | 140 | +45.7% |
| Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty | Ultra, 1440p | 83 | 58 | +43.1% |
| Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty | Ultra, 1080p | 126 | 88 | +43.2% |
| Average | 114.3 | 78.8 | +45.0% |
The Arc Pro B70 packs 4096 shading units compared to 2560 on the B60, and this 60 percent increase in hardware resources directly contributes to the higher frame rates, while the current reference design runs at 230W even though Intel allows scaling up to 290W, which means partner cards with higher power limits can push performance further.
Intel has not confirmed any gaming-focused Battlemage GPU yet, but these early results show that the Arc Pro B70 already delivers strong gaming performance despite its workstation focus, and that gives a clear idea of what the architecture can achieve.
