Info continues to leak out regarding the Surface Laptop, including these new images
On the eve of Microsoft’s May 2nd event tomorrow morning in New York, the floodgates are opening with lots of new images and information on the newest Surface, which is being called (for tonight anyway) the Surface Laptop.
WalkingCat, who had the first images of the newest member of the Surface family just about two hours ago, has tweeted again with some new images and new information:
Surface Laptop weighs 2.76lbs, 14.47mm thin at the back, 9.9mm thin at the front, and has 3.4 million pixels (btw what resolution is that?) pic.twitter.com/2AQShloEKA

along with that, another noted Microsoft leaker, Evan Blass, has tweeted out some images he’s found:

As you might expect, there’s also quite the discussion happening on Twitter, with lots of questions about pricing. Zac Bowden is guessing that the price will come in somewhere around $999, and Tom Warren of The Verge seems to agree:
I would also be surprised if the Surface Laptop isn’t Core M. I’d guess the pricing will keep this premium for at least $999 https://t.co/BNd8lPzoyV

As to why someone would want to pay a thousand dollars for a Core M laptop running Windows 10 S (even with being upgradeable to W10 Pro) is up for debate as well, but as luck would have it, we have an event tomorrow that just may offer some insights.
Make sure you tune in tomorrow for all the latest, we’re sure there’s lots to come!
