HP launches its new premium Spectre series of Windows 10 laptops in India

HP has unveiled its new premium Spectre range of Windows 10 convertible laptops – the new HP Spectre Folio and the refreshed HP Spectre x360.

The new HP Spectre series has made a breakthrough in design, versatility, and connectivity. The HP Spectre Folio and Spectre x360 achieve the perfect balance of beautiful design, cutting edge engineering and outstanding performance.

HP Spectre Folio is the world’s first leather convertible PC demonstrating the series’ focus on design and craftsmanship.

The Spectre Folio sports a thin and light versatile design that allows it to be seamlessly converted between three distinct positions. It’s also completely fanless.

It sports a 400-nits Full HD touchscreen display and packs In four front-facing speakers tuned by the luxury audio brand, Bang & Olufsen. HP claims that the Spectre Folio incorporates one of the smallest motherboards in the industry packing in the 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage.

The HP Spectre Folio is available in Cognac Brown at a price of ₹199,990 ($2822).

The new HP Spectre x360 lineup features a completely refreshed design, with a new Poseidon Blue color variant. It sports a cut design achieved by CNC machining and enables four distinct positions – Laptop, Tent, Reverse, and Tablet.

Powered by the latest quad-core 8th generation Intel Core processors, the HP Spectre x360 comes in both Full HD and 4K (UHD) display options. The uniquely designed speakers deliver a superior audio experience by Bang & Olufsen.

The device also comes with a privacy camera kill switch which allows the user to electrically turn off the webcam when not in use and an optional HP Sure View privacy screen to help users avoid prying eyes in public areas.

The HP Spectre x360 is available now in Dark Ash Grey at a starting price of ₹129,990 ($1834) and in Poseidon Blue at a starting price of ₹139,990 ($1974).
