HP has debuted two new OMEN gaming desktops, the 25L and 30L that are the first to offer HP’s new OMEN branding, chassis design, and internal hardware. While the design of any device is subjective, HP appears to be moving towards a more refined design that removes the old logo and cube designs and offers a more subtle design approach including a striking black color and white logo.
Gamers can choose from either the 25-liter (25L) or 30-liter (30L) models that offer tool-free design for internal access and thermals for improved cooling. For users who want something a bit more, the 30L model also comes with a tempered glass front bezel and an enhanced thermal compartment that houses a Cooler Master 120mm RGB system fan to provide extra cooling when you need it most.
On both models, gamers can choose from:
- NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 2080 Ti or up to AMD’s Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics cards
- processors ranging from Intel’s latest 10th Gen Core i9-10900K or the latest 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen 9 3900 desktop processors.
- Cooling options including 92mm air and 120mm liquid cooling
- up to 64GB of HyperX Fury DDR4-3200MHz XMP memory
HP also offers up plenty of internal customization for their new gaming desktops using the OMEN Command Center app to enable lighting controls and monitor individual component performance, allocate network traffic, and control fan speeds.
Along with the gaming desktops, HP is releasing the new NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible OMEN 27i Gaming Monitor that uses an IPS Panel with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz and Quad HD (2560×1440) resolution.
Both OMEN gaming desktops and monitor are expected to be released this month.
