Panos Panay has announced the latest update of Windows 11 2022 is available today, bringing the latest updates to billions of PCs. Microsoft will use the same delivery method it has used over the last few major updates.  When your device is ready for an upgrade, you will be prompted by Windows Update.  Keep in mind not everyone will get the update at once.  Microsoft will use a staggered rollout over the next few weeks. This helps ensure quality control, by allowing Microsoft to pause the rollout should any major bugs be found.

If you’re anxious to get your hands on Microsoft’s latest bits, users with eligible devices running Windows 21H2 who are ready to experience the latest features can do so by opening Windows Update settings (Settings > Windows Update) and choosing Check for updates.

If you’re upgrading from Windows 10, you’ll need to make sure your device meets the minimum requirements for Windows 11. In Windows 10, go to Settings>Update & Security>Windows Update, and check for updates, and if your PC meets the specs and is available for an update, you’ll see an option to upgrade to Windows 11, simply select “Download and Install.”
