After the announcement of the Surface Book 2 today, we can now tell you that pre-orders start for the device, beginning November 9, 2017. Once you pre-order, the Surface Book 2 will start shipping out on November 16, 2017. There are two size options available for the Surface Book 2, 13.5″ and 15″ models, but the 15″ Surface Book 2 will be available in the US only (for now).
The Surface Book 2 starts at $1,499 for the 13.5″ model and bumps up to $2,499 for the 15″ model. The highest-tier 8th-gen Intel Core i7 with 1 TB SSD is available for $2,999. Surface Book 2 configurations and prices in the UK have been spotted (thanks Michael!).

The Surface Book 2 13.5″ model will be available in 20 markets on the November 9, 2017, but Microsoft has not yet announced when the 15″ Surface Book 2 model will be available in other markets. The 15″ Surface Book 2 will be available in the US only to start. You can pre-order the new Surface Precision Mouse on November 9th, too.
