It looks like some Hotmail users have been complaining lately that Microsoft has misplaced plenty of their e-mails and there doesn’t appear to be a fix available yet.
According to those affected by the issue, the lost e-mails have been sent to their deleted mail folders and you can easily see how such an issue can affect one’s regular e-mailing habits. Hotmail is the most used free e-mail service in the world with around 360 million users worldwide and we’re yet to determine whether this is a serious issue or we’re simply looking at a minor problem affecting just some users.
