Two new apps have hit the Windows Phone Store, the official Hilton HHonors app and the Zattoo Live TV app. The Hilton HHonors app is an official app that lets you find and book hotel rooms, while the Zattoo app lets you watch many local and international TV Channels.
The Hilton HHonors app comes packed with features, including the ability to find hotels and resorts, book reservations with ease, modify or cancel upcoming reservations, request room upgrades, view your receipts, and much more.
“Whether you are an occasional vacationer or a non-stop business traveler, the Hilton HHonors mobile app provides you access to easy travel planning tools and all your member benefits to make your on-the-go lifestyle easier,” the app description reads. Here are the key features of this app:

- Search all hotels and resorts within the Hilton Worldwide portfolio and find a hotel that fits your style and budget utilizing the quick look view of hotel photos, key amenities and access to maps.
- Modify and cancel upcoming reservations
- Redeem HHonors Points for Reward Stays
- Manage your Hilton HHonors account
- View past stays and your stay receipts
- Find and redeem special offers that fit your travel needs
- Utilize the current location functionality to book last minute hotel reservations
- Request room upgrades
- Submit Requests Upon Arrival so your room is just right the moment you enter
- Call our hotels or contact HHonors support when you need assistance
- Join the HHonors program if you’re not yet a member
- Use voice commands to open the app and quickly book a hotel, access your account, view your stays and your HHonors card
Zattoo Live TV, on the other hand, lets you watch a huge selection of TV channels. “Bring your favorite TV channels with you wherever you go. Our Zattoo TV Guide gives you the perfect overview, so you can record your favorite shows (only CH, ES) and watch them whenever you want. You don’t have to miss your favorite series, sport events, world cup or news, even while you’re on the go or at home,” the app description reads.
The app lets you watch local and international TV channels (depending on what country you are in) and lets you see a TV Guide with two weeks of program overview. Zattoo Live TV is also one of the first universal Windows apps to hit the market and it only took them a month to create it!
“Zattoo now has more than 15 million registered users and 1.2 million active users per month, with its core market in Switzerland and Germany. Customers in Spain, France, Denmark, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein and the UK are accessing Zattoo TV apps on the Web, mobile, smart TV and gaming devices,” Microsoft stated.
