These make it easier for devices to meet cybersecurity requirements.
Microsoft’s strategy underscores a Zero Trust model for IoT security, aligning with the new National Cybersecurity Strategy and the labeling program. In this model, every request and interaction is checked carefully to ensure nothing harmful gets through. A certification program called Edge Secured-Core also helps companies follow security rules when making devices.
Windows IoT has features like BitLocker encryption, Secure Boot, and other ways to prevent attacks. Microsoft is working to match its plans with the goals of the US National Cybersecurity Strategy so that IoT devices become safer.
