Nokia Lumia 930

Nokia Lumia 930 is up for pre-orders in various parts of the globe, with the shipments set for this month, with most retailers and carriers starting deliveries from July 10th. Until now, we didn’t come across a solid word about the launch of the handset in the UK. Recently, the folks at WPCentral spotted the pricing plans of the Nokia Lumia 930 in the UK, specifically at Carphone Warehouse.

The Nokia Lumia 930 doesn’t come with a cheap price tag in the UK and costs £479.95 (almost $820) for the SIM-free version, but it’s not a surprise since most gadgets are usually expensive in the UK compared to the US. As far as the contract pricing is concerned, interested customers can score the handset by paying £99 upfront with monthly payments of £28 each. There’s no word about the availability of the handset, but it should hit retail in the country as early as next week.

For £479.95, you get a 5-inch 1080p display with a Snapdragon 800 SoC, and Adreno 330 GPU on board. There’s a 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, as well as a 20MP camera with PureView technology and Carl Zeiss optics as well. It’s the first high-end device to run the latest Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.

We’ll update you as soon as it hits retail in the UK. Stay tuned.
