During the annual conference for IT professionals and developers, Microsoft Ignite 2022, Microsoft announced that they will be launching a new application, Microsoft 365 app. It is designed to harbor all your favorite apps that will get you through a productive day at work whether at home or at the office.

And now, via the Microsoft 365 YouTube Channel, Microsoft has published a new video that provides more insights detailing more about the features that are expected to come to this application.

We had earlier hit the key features that are expected to be part of this new app, among them, the New Apps module, My Content, and Welcome Badging among others. The short clip posted on YouTube further builds upon this and displays the app’s UI.

Besides creating a one-stop experience where users will now be able to access all their Microsoft 365 apps within the Apps section, users will also be able to install third-party applications which can be accessed through the My content section. From the video, you can see that the content is categorized into sections to enhance the accessibility of the content shared during meetings.

As we had highlighted earlier, the Office app has now been rebranded to Microsoft 365. The application is expected to begin rolling out in the coming months. It is expected to come as an update to the existing Office app.
