Here is the first look at Halo Nightfall, a new live-action series that debuts Nov 11th

Microsoft has uploaded a new video to YouTube, giving us a peek at the upcoming live-action series Halo Nightfall. The series debuts November 11th, but you can feast your eyes on a teaser offering over a minute of Halo Nightfall drama.

Halo Nightfall, for  those that did not know, introduces a pivotal new character named Jameson Locke. As explained by Microsoft in the video description, Locke is a legendary manhunter and agent with the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), Earth’s most powerful and secretive military branch. When he and his team are caught in a horrific biological attack, they unravel a plot that draws them to an ancient, hellish artifact, where they will be forced to fight for their survival, question everything, and ultimately choose between their loyalties and their lives.

Halo Nightfall takes place between the events of Halo 4 and Halo 5 Guardians. Nightfall is basically Locke’s origin story, which will explain his character as Halo 5 Guardians launches in fall of 2015.

Take a look at the video below. Enjoy!
