Here is the best hands-on video review of the Surface Pro 3 you will see (video)

What can be said about Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 that hasn’t already been said numerous times already. It is Microsoft’s newest 12-inch tablet/laptop hybrid and the Redmond giant wants you to replace your laptop with it.

Sean Ong has uploaded a few videos to his YouTube channel, offering the world an unboxing of the new device, along with three videos that go hands-on with the device. Ong even shows off the Surface Pen and takes it for a spin! In my opinion, this is likely one of the best hands-on videos of the device we’ve seen. Ong offers tidbits on the new device, and even shows off a few tricks that the Surface Pro 3 can do.

We’ve embedded the videos below for your viewing pleasure. We also recommend following him on Twitter too! For those of you who need a quick refresher on the specs of the Surface Pro 3, continue reading. If not, scroll to the bottom to check out the videos!

The Surface Pro 3 features a 12-inch ClearType Full HD display (2160×1440), 800g in weight, and 9.1mm thin with its Magnesium casing. The RAM is dual-channel LPDDR3 and varies between 4GB and 8GB depending on how much you are willing to pay. The front-facing speakers are also Dolby Audio-enhanced. The device also features a 5MP and 1080p HD front and rear facing cameras, Bluetooth 4.0 low energy technology, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac/802.11 a/b/g/n.

The device also features the following ports: Full-size USB 3.0, microSD card reader, Headset jack, MiniDisplayPort, Cover port, and Charging port. The device has the following sensors: Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and Magnetometer. The device comes with a 36W power supply (including 5W USB for accessory charging). Battery life is up to nine hours (web browsing). The N-trig pen features 256 levels of pressure sensitivity.

At the moment, you can pre-order all the Surface Pro 3 variants, while the Core i5 version ships by 6/20/2014 and the Core i3/i7 versions ship by 8/31/2014.
