The launch of Halo Infinite‘s second season is now less than a month away. Subtitled “Lone Wolves,” Season 2 will roll out on May 3, and more details are being released as the launch date draws near. The official 343 Industries Halo Waypoint blog itemized an expansive list of changes and additions coming to the game in the form of audio enhancements, stability improvements, and tweaks to weapons and vehicles, as well as many others.

Among some of the more interesting are a volume increase of the Grunt Birthday Party sound effect, and splatter damage done with the Chopper vehicle will be accordingly ramped up as well. And Halo superfans will be delighted to learn that longtime multiplayer announcer Jeff Steitzer will be returning to call out player-earned medals. A new Arena map named Catalyst will be added on day one of Lone Wolves, with other new content certain to follow.

These are just a few of the standout tweaks and additions coming to Halo Infinite when new season arrives, and they will accompanied by a myriad of other game enhancements. It will be exciting to see what 343 Industries has in store for Halo fans later in the season.
