Halo Infinite’s long-awaited Forge feature was finally released in beta form back in November last year with the launch of the Winter Update. The creation tool, which allows players to create their own maps, modes and more, has been a mainstay in the Halo franchise since its inception with Halo 3.

Over on Xbox Wire the team has announced that as of January 2nd users had made over 1 million creations in the Halo Infinite Forge beta. That is quite an impressive number given that it was achieved in under two months.

The post also revealed that more than 8.5 million custom game matches had been played since the launch of the Custom Game Browser as of January 2.

You may have seen on YouTube some of the incredible creations users have been able to make. Among them: The Legend of Zelda’s Kokiri Forest; Andy’s Room from Toy Story; Lord of the Ring’s Minas Tirith, and more.

On a side note, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer Season 3: Echoes Within launches March 7.
