Groupon for Windows Phone brings a shopping kart and nearby tab with its latest update

The Windows Phone client of the popular service Groupon has snagged yet another exciting update. The new update brings with it a shopping cart, a “Nearby” tab, and several more enticing features to enhance your shopping experience.

Bumping up the version number to 4.0, the app now allows you to add goods to your cart and continue with the shopping. You can also now search for deals from within the app, and finding nearby deals has never been this simple, thanks to the newly added ‘Nearby’ tab.

If you’re not familiar with Groupon, it’s a sort of business app that supplements your shopping experience. The app offers discounts of up to 50 to 70%, and has over 500 cities in its database. Groupon offers a wide range of services, including fashion apparels, to restaurants listing, and more.

About the new update, if you rock a Lumia smartphone, the update isn’t ready for your handset yet. The company says that it will soon update the Lumia-exclusive version of the app. If you have a non-Lumia device, hit the download link below to snag the app.
