Groupme

GroupMe, the popular messaging app from Microsoft, has gained a new calendar function in its latest update. This makes it a great deal easier for groups to organize meet ups, as such it has considerable utility both in a personal and in a work context.

Group invites can be sent, along with automatic reminders and all can be viewed in a central group hub. The app is available for users on all major mobile platforms, be they iOS, Windows Phone or Android. This of course means that in a group situation, there is simply no excuse for not being organized down to a tee, as such this app is an essential download.

The update also includes all of the usual stability tweaks and bug fixes that one would expect, making this rather a solid update overall.

Will you be downloading GroupMe on your mobile operating system of choice? Let us know in the comments below.
