GoDaddy has long been known as the world’s largest domain name provider, and it has also long been dedicated to small businesses. Deservedly so, the company has now announced that it is expanding on its existing partnership with Microsoft, and will be offering GoDaddy domains through Microsoft’s Azure App Service Platform.

The expanded partnership means that users can now seamlessly purchase and configure domain names right from the Azure App Service platform without having to leave the Microsoft environment. In addition, customers will now also have access to Microsoft’s direct support, ensuring that they will have help for all required services. In a statement Nir Mashkowski, Director of Program management for Azure App Service said,

Microsoft’s ability to offer GoDaddy’s domains and SSL product through Microsoft Azure App Service will increase the overall functionality of the platform and provide an improved experience for our users…. We look forward to our continued collaboration with GoDaddy and bringing even more products to market that directly benefit our customers.

The technology behind GoDaddy’s domain and SSL availability within Microsoft’s Azure App Service is made possible through the latest GoDaddy API and continued coordination with Microsoft. GoDaddy has more than 14 million customers worldwide and gives small business owners the tools to name their idea, build a beautiful online presence, attract customers and manage their business.
