Giveaway: Auslogics Disk Defrag Pro 4.2 for Windows 8, improves your hard disk performance

It’s that time again. Time for a giveaway to our loyal readers. This time, the folks over at Auslogics has graciously offered us 5 license codes to their newly released Disk Defrag Pro 4.2, which has been designed to improve your Windows 8 experience! This software is excellent when it comes to improving your hard disk performance, so you can get the important stuff done faster.

Auslogics Disk Defrag Pro 4.2, which was recently released and optimized for Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system, is an excellent defrag tool that offers a nice and organized interface as well as detailed reports and performance charts. Whether you are a hardcore computer nerd or a first time defragger, Disk Defrag Pro 4.2 makes it very easy to optimize your computer so it can run faster. Disk Defrag Pro 4.2 now offers even more speed improvements to your hard disk thanks to new optimization algorithms and boot-time defrag technology. Users can now defrag system files such as MFT, pagefile, and hyberfil. There are also a choice of four different disk optimization algorithms including special algorithms for those who have a SSD or VSS enabled drive. Disk Defrag Pro is so smart that it can also prevent further fragmentation!

What about the disk defrag tool in Windows? Well, not only is the defrag tool in Windows pretty boring but it also does not optimize your hard drive’s file system like Disk Defrag 4 does. This software will not only defragment free space, but also move system files to the fastest part of the disk and clear the MFT Reserved Zone from regular files. Disk Defrag 4 can even defragment large multi-terabyte volumes. You can now defrag every single system file in Windows, including crucial system files that are normally locked by Windows. This feature is called Boot-time defrag (see screenshot below).

Best part about Disk Defrag Pro, is the ability to select exactly where you want to defrag. You don’t have to do the entire disk volume. On top of that, the application uses very little system resources to accomplish its tasks. A great app to help prevent system crashes and slow-downs. Did I mention how fast the defrag process is? The bottom line is that Auslogics has created a super-fast and fun way to defrag our drives when it can normally be slow and boring. If you are looking for a tool that has tons of features and makes it fun to defrag again, this is the application for you. Check out the visual walkthough video below showcasing the software:

Microsoft has also officially certified Disk Defrag Pro to be Windows 8 compatible and is also available for download in the Windows Store. So if you are tired of using the standard defrag utility found in Windows and you want a better means of optimizing your hard disk, this application is for you. Disk Defrag Pro presents a very worthy alternative, offering advanced configuration and a wealth of optimization features to ensure your drives’ most efficient operation.
