Get your game on! Solitaire Collection, Minesweeper and Mahjong move to Windows Phone

Microsoft’s gaming output is not restricted to the Xbox One. For many years there have been various games built into Windows, although these have been sadly lacking from Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. The likes of Solitaire, Minesweeper and Mahjong have been available for desktop users to download from the Windows store for a little while, and these three titles have now made the jump to Windows Phone as well.

These are all games that you should be familiar with — Microsoft Minesweeper is the classic ‘just one more try’ title that frustrates and delights in equal measure. Find the flag, avoid the mines. It’s a simple combination of luck and logic that never grows old.

Microsoft Solitaire Collection is five games in one. Whether you’re looking for a simple game of solitaire like Kondike, or something slightly more involved like Spider, there’s something here for everyone.

Rounding off the trio of games is Microsoft Mahjong which boasts gorgeous graphics and sound. This classic tile game is another puzzler that will keep calling you back for more, and there are varying levels of difficulty to cater for all abilities.

All games have Xbox Live integration so you can earn and share your achievements with friends, as well as competing in global leaderboards.

Thanks James for the tip! Have fun gaming!
