Games with Gold for the month of July are live, which offers Xbox One and 360 users free games throughout the month. Under this program, users with Xbox Live gold membership get games for free, as well as on a discount every month. Last month, Halo: Spartan Assault went free, and this month, its replaced by Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, which will debut on Xbox One as a free download.
“Coming up in July, Xbox Live Gold members can look forward to three new free games on Xbox One and Xbox 360. Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition will debut on Xbox One as a free download, replacing June’s Xbox One Games with Gold title Halo: Spartan Assault (so be sure to grab it now if you haven’t already). Max: The Curse of Brotherhood will remain available for Xbox Live Gold members to download for Xbox One,” says Microsoft in an official blog post.
Additionally, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood which went on sale in the last month’s deal is still available, so make sure you grab it if you haven’t already. Starting July 1st, Gotham City Imposters will also be available as free download until July 15th — the game is normally priced at $14.99. It doesn’t end there, from July 16th onwards, users will be able to download BattleBlock Theater for free until July 31st, normally priced at $14.99 as well.
