Forza Horizon 5, the latest entry in the popular open-world Forza spin-off video game series, is now live on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PCs.

The racing game features cross-buy between Xbox consoles and Windows PC which means that buying Forza Horizon 5 on one platform will unlock it on the others. Forza Horizon 5 also supports cross-play between platforms, is playable for free for all Xbox Game Pass subscribers, and is fully available to via Xbox Cloud Gaming, Microsoft’s game streaming service which is now available in a growing number of markets.

Forza Horizon 5 is one of the biggest Xbox video game releases of 2021 and, as expected, is generating a lot of buzz from players and the media this week. The Xbox social media channels have also been pushing Forza Horizon 5’s release quite a bit with the Xbox Australia marketing team once again being a standout by literally tossing a Forza Horizon 5-themed car out of a helicopter.

Our Laurent Giret conducted a full review of Forza Horizon 5 earlier this week and described it as “the best game in the series and another essential release from PlayGround Games.” Make sure to give his full review a read here.
