Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels Expansion

Following its release on Xbox One and Windows 10 last September, the open world racing game Forza Horizon 3 has received plenty of additionnal content, which is a great way to keep fans engaged. And today, Forza Community Manager Brian Ekberg announced on Xbox Wire the second game expansion, Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels. That’s right, the game studio has partnered with the popular toy cars brand, and the new content seems awesome.

“This expansion lets players travel to a brand-new location in Australia, a place where lazy Sunday drives are replaced by insane high-speed stunts on miles of looping, banking, giant iconic orange Hot Wheels tracks,” explained Ekberg. “Starring famous Hot Wheels vehicles like the Twin Mill, the Rip Rod, and the Bone Shaker, Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels promises an automotive adventure unlike anything in Forza history.” You’ll better understand what he means by watching the trailer below:

Overall, the new expansion will add an all new campaign, ten new cars, six new themed islands connected by a network of Hot Wheels tracks. And if you’re wondering, the DLC will also add 28 new achievements worth 500 Gamerscore.

Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels will be available on May 9 on Xbox One and Windows 10, and it will be free for those of you who already purchased the $34.99 Forza Horizon 3 Expansion Pass. Otherwise, the DLC will be available to purchase separately for $19.99 on the Xbox Store.
