Flipboard app for Windows 8.1 receives new update, change log yet to be released

For those of you who are using the brand spanking new Flipboard app for Windows 8.1, which was released on November 14th, there is a new update waiting for you in the Windows Store. Unfortunately, at this time, there is no change log to tell us what is new.

“Flipboard is your personal magazine. It is the most popular way to catch up on the news you care about, read stories from around the world and browse the articles, videos and photos friends are sharing. To begin, pick a few topics and tap any of the tiles to begin flipping through your personal magazine,” the app description reads.

Flipboard for Windows 8.1 supports Live Tiles and Snap, much like typical Windows 8.1 apps do. The Live Tile will display the latest stories directly on your Start Screen. You can connect Flipboard to up to twelve social networks, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Google+. You can also read “Cover Stories”which showcases popular items from everything you’ve added to your Flipboard.

At this time, there is no change log available for the app. We’ve reached out the Flipboard to get an idea of what has been fixed and what has been improved. So far, we’ve noticed the app to be much more responsive.
