First image of Slack for Windows Phone revealed

The popular collaboration app, Slack, has just been previewed for Windows Phone in a casual reply to a fan from the official Slack Twitter account. The tweet shows an actual photo of the app running on a Windows Phone and has garnered a pretty positive response fairly quickly. Many users replied to the photo with requests to join an app beta but they were pretty much told to stay tuned to the official Slack Twitter account as they may be recruiting followers for a future beta through the social media network.

Slack is currently available on iOS, Android, Windows 7+ and Mac OSX 10.7+. The app is mostly known for its group chat capabilities but also allows for the transfer of files between participants and automatic syncing between devices. Slack can also connect to services like Twitter, Dropbox and Reddit (among many others) to increase productivity by removing the need to manually switch apps to complete different tasks.

Have you been hanging out for Slack on Windows Phone? Hype away in the comments below.
