Total Defense 3D

I’ve said this many times before and I will say it again. I’m a big fan of strategy games and I love to try anything new sent my way. Recently, I came across another decent, yet addictive, RPG game dubbed as Total Defense 3D.

The scenario is pretty simple: you have to defend your base by deploying towers and other tactics such as blocking passages, bombing bridges, and more. The game has 22 challenging missions, with three difficulty levels: Normal, Hard, and Hell. During the game, you also get to upgrade the towers to improve your defenses and more.

The app description reads, “Get ready for a smashing gameplay coupled with an exciting story. Meet addictive Total Defense 3D! This state of the art strategy will unleash a cascade of new RTS and RPG features as you drown in the intensive battles across the unknown universe! Get ready to immerse into the action set in a faraway galaxy where people are languishing under the rule of the cruel Tyrant. You are the only hope and savior for those starving and dying because of unbearable taxes. Rise against the Imperial army and free all the planets in the galaxy system!”

I played it for sometime, obviously, it cannot just replace a full-fledged strategy game, but can be a good alternative to kill some time. Here are some features the Windows Phone store highlighted:

  • Amazing graphics & free camera view as you have never seen before in defense games
  • Bomb bridges, destroy monuments, block passages for maximum tactical advantage
  • Accomplish 22 exciting story-driven missions
  • Develop five sets of skills
  • 3 difficulty modes appealing to both casual and hardcore gamers
  • Futuristic soundtrack to amplify your sci-fi gaming experience

Hit the download links below and grab the game. Total Defense 3D comes with a $1.99 price tag, and is available for Windows Phone as well — it’s a universal app so you have to pay for it once and enjoy the game on multiple devices.
