Facebook Users On The Move Can Manage Pages More Easily With FB Pages Manager App – onmsft.com

Facebook users on the move can manage pages more easily with "FB Page Manager"

Employees who wish to keep track of their companies Facebook page on the move now have a new layout in the page managing app “FB Pages Manager.” A recent update placed a heavy emphasis on user interface and notifications.

To clarify, the app is for managing pages such as those for companies or bands, not your personal Facebook account. In the app you have access to many of the desktop features for managing your page such as uploading videos, mage mention information, events, and viewing scheduled posts.

The app has a four star rating in the Windows Phone store but it’s dragged down heavily by interspersed one star ratings. The most recent update is receiving many five star reviews but some users are upset that the pro version, which is now a universal app, has to be purchased in comparison to similar features being free on other platforms. It’s a common frustration for Windows Phone users to see different levels of support than other platforms. Here’s a full change log:

Added

  • Page Mentions
  • Events
  • View scheduled posts
  • Windows Phone 8.1 share function

Fixed

  • Video upload
  • Big sized photo uploads
  • All reported issues and crashes

Changed

  • Notification system
  • Design and user experience
  • The pro version is now an universal app
