Microsoft announced recently that a Universal Windows App for Facebook would be launching soon, and we’ve already had a taste of that universal Facebook app on Windows 10 Mobile. Now, the Facebook Beta app for desktop has appeared in store, and is being tested by a select group of testers before being rolled out more broadly next year.
The store listing does reveal screenshots of what the app will look like however, which is a first as we’ve not yet seen the desktop Facebook app for Windows 10. Trying to download the app if you’re not part of the beta test will likely result in the app not working for you, so keep that in mind.
You can check out the screenshots of the app embedded above and let us know what you think in the comments area below.
Update: Facebook has issued an official comment regarding the app:
“We’re testing Facebook for Windows Desktop, a new app for Windows 10 computers. We look forward to rolling this out more broadly next year.” – Facebook spokesperson
