Facebook app (Beta) for Windows Phone 8 receives yet another minor update – onmsft.com

Microsoft recently launched a Beta program for the new Facebook app for Windows Phone 8 and the app has received a few updates along the way. A new update has rolled out today offering bug fixes and improvements. No change log is currently available.

While there is currently no changelog for this update, the app build number has been bumped from 5.0.1.6 to 5.0.1.7 and appears to be a little faster than before. There are likely to be bug fixes and performance improvements in this new update. Grab the download below or update your app if you have it installed and let us know if you notice any differences.

For those who are unaware, the new Facebook app for Windows Phone features a major redesign and has implemented several user-requested features. Those features include support for high-res photos, post sharing, and Facebook Timeline.
