The Minecraft Marketplace has launched its five-year celebration with a host of special features to commemorate the event.

From May 24 through July 12 Minecraft Marketplace will look back at the biggest adventure maps that brought the most exciting content additions to the game, and speak to the talented creators behind them. And of course no celebration would be complete without the giving of gifts, so there will be a bevy of limited-time discounts available on the marketplace throughout the event.

There will be some exciting free content on offer as well, starting with Marketplace Creator Tycoon, by Jigarbov Productions. If you have ever wanted to try your hand at becoming a Minecraft Marketplace creator but didn’t know where to start, then this new map is just for you. And the best part is that you can enlist your friends to join along in the creation process!

The five weeks of Minecraft Marketplace’s Five Year Celebration will allow fans to join in taking a look back at some of the highlights of the past five years such as Dinosaur Island, Refuge of the Dragons, and more. Note that to use the Minecraft Marketplace you will need the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft.
