Game developer Petroglyph Games and game publisher Trion Worlds have opened up the beta invitation flood channels for the upcoming free-to-play End of Nations MMORTS game. End of Nations will offer battles with up to 50 players and a massive persistent world.

End of Nations will have massive scale battles of up to 50 players, a massive persistent world, and customization options to mane every army and unit unique. Gamers can also play in the solo campaign, or the co-op mode with up to 50 players, and in a “Conquer the World” multiplayer mode to experience giant conflicts of up to 26 vs 26 for “global control” of the massive persistent world. Best of all, the game will be free to play.

“Being able to offer a premium game such as End of Nations for free sets us apart in this industry,” said Dave Luehmann, Vice President of Trion Worlds. “At Trion, we strive to innovate connected online gaming while emphasizing the delivery of the best core gameplay experience available. Our decision to release End of Nations as a AAA free–to-play title is guided by these principles.”

The only details unknown at this time is when the beta program will start and how many beta testers will be participating.
