Communicator Corp (www.communicatorcorp.com), the UK’s leading enterprise email management solutions company, has reported that email confirmation of donations more than doubled during its second year supporting Comic Relief. As the evening drew to a close the total raised exceeded £74 million, the highest total reached on the night, in Red Nose Day’s 23 year history.

Over the course of the event, Communicator Corp processed more than 400,000 email confirmations compared with the 170,000 delivered in 2010. The emails were sent using Communicator Corp’s acclaimed Intelligent Delivery Solution to optimise inbox placement. Communicator Corp was chosen for its ability to send hundreds of thousands of donation confirmation emails instantly.

The Communicator® platform adds powerful email management functionality to any organisation’s customer interface by utilising data from across all business processes and channels including: email marketing, CRM, and transactional messaging. The platform is widely and successfully used both in the UK and across the globe by companies seeking to deliver high value email and mobile communications.

Commenting on this year’s support of Comic Relief, Chris Wilds Managing Director of Communicator Corp noted, “We should all be proud of the tremendous work that Comic Relief performs. The enormous amounts of money raised though must all be seen to be handled quickly and professionally. Email is a critically important tool here and it is clear that confirmation by email is an increasingly popular option. We were delighted to be able to support this most worthy cause and ensure these important emails were delivered straight to those people kind enough to donate immediately.”

A spokesperson for Comic Relief welcomed Wild’s comments adding, “We were delighted with the support that Communicator Corp has given us. It is important to us that that the generosity of those who donate is handled efficiently and speedily. Communicator Corp generously provided their email platform to ensure we were able handle email confirmations quickly and efficiently and we are pleased with the speed of response that we were able to provide to those people who donated.”
