Elden Ring’s incredible success continues into 2023 with the game now having sold more than 20 million copies.

The game has accomplished this feat just shy of a year since its release; Bandai Namco will be livestreaming a special Elden Ring Anniversary Event on Saturday, February 25th starting at 10am ET.

You may recall that Elden Ring sold 12 million copies within the first month of its launch. While those other 8 million sales did not come quite so quickly, the team was appreciative nonetheless and took to Twitter to thank all those who had played the game.

Extending our gratitude to you the community! 👑 https://t.co/qqb98PEL9m
