The Microsoft Personal Shopping Assistant browser extension for the Windows 10 Microsoft Edge browser is the latest Microsoft property to update its icon to the new design aesthetic the company revealed back in November of last year.

While the original icon for Microsoft Personal Shopping Assistant was a fairly basic outline of a shopping bag, the new icon (see above image) features two shades of blue, that add the illusion of depth, and a white down arrow.

This new look for Microsoft apps and services has been rolling out gradually rather than one massive launch, which is admittedly unusual. Office.com began using the new icons last month and the Outlook app for Apple’s iOS devices updated with its new look icon just a few days ago.

We actually liked the new design aesthetic so much that we even revamped this site’s social media icons to match it. (Give them a click!)

Microsoft Personal Shopping Assistant is a free extension for Microsoft Edge that lets users add products from stores to a built-in collection board. After an item is added, the extension compares its price across online retailer websites and can actually tracks price changes and notify the user.
