At Microsoft’s event in New York today, the company hit us with a massive new ecosystem of 3D models coming out in the Creator’s update. As well as being supported by Powerpoint and other Microsoft programs, Edge is going to be tied into the ecosystem as well. We saw during the conference that 3D models can be viewed and rotated through Facebook, and you can also check out the models in websites like remix3d.com.
This is just the tip of the iceberg for what looks like it’s going to be the next big thing for Windows 10. These 3D models seem like they’re going to be thrown into every aspect of Wthe operating system, and we’re extremely interested to find out what Microsoft does with them.
