Earth Day is coming on April 22nd, and Microsoft is ready to celebrate with a series of blog posts that will reflect on how innovative technologies are furthering the cause for a healthier planet going forward. The first blog post came today from Microsoft’s Tom Bernard, and it told us about Microsoft’s plans for the days leading up to Earth Day.

In the week leading up to this Earth Day, and in the coming months, we will share some stories that are at the core of our optimism for the future – examples of human ingenuity and sustainable innovation from our employees, our customers and our nonprofit partners around the world.

Tomorrow (That’s Thursday the 20th) Microsoft will be showcasing the work of its longtime partner, the Nature Conservancy. On Friday, we’ll get a look at “the transformations underway in cities in the U.S. and across the globe.” If you’re interested in learning more about how Microsoft is exercising its eco-friendly muscles, you’ll want to keep an eye out in the coming days for tons of content that will explain how technology is supporting our sustainability.
