EA and Microsoft announce new low-cost Xbox One subscription service

If you like the idea of getting your hands on a selection of titles from EA on the cheap, a new announcement from the games producer and Microsoft will be of interest. A new subscription service, EA Access, costs subscribers $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year, and it provides access to catalog of EA games.

At the moment the service is only available to a limited number of uses as a beta product, but EA promises that it won’t be long before it rolls out to all Xbox One owners. EA explains:

“EA Access membership unlocks The Vault, a collection of EA’s biggest games on Xbox One ready for you to download and play.  During the beta, gamers will have unlimited access to four great EA games: FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4, with more titles being added soon. That’s over $100 worth of games for $4.99 a month. You can play these EA favorites as much as you want with the click of a button.”

Anyone subscribing to EA Access will save 10 percent on digital content purchases and will also gain access to trial versions of games days before official release.

Check out the EA Access website for more information.
