E3 2014: Tom Clancy’s The Division DLC coming to Xbox One

Today at Microsoft’s E3 media briefing, Tom Clancy’s The Division DLC made an appearance on the Xbox stage with an epic new gameplay trailer. The game is powered by UbiSoft’s fully next-gen Snowdrop engine that gives video game realism and open world rendering a new meaning.

Ubisoft description of the game is as follows: “On Black Friday, a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City, and one by one, basic services fail. In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. The Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, these agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society.”

Tom Clancy’s The Division unfortunately won’t be coming this year. The company will be launching the game in 2015 and will be available for Xbox One and PC, as well as PlayStation 4.

Here’s the gameplay footage of the game:
