The day has finally come. Halo is making its way to Xbox One. Halo 5 is on the cards, but first of all there is Halo: The Master Chief Collection to look forward to. Scheduled for release on November 11, the bundle comprises Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4, and will be available for $59.99.
These are the full original versions of each of the games — nothing has been removed. All maps and levels are available at full HD resolution, with the only change being the way achievement are earned.
There is one other slight difference. In the collection, there is no need to unlock missions and difficulty levels — everything each of the games has to offer is available right from the start.
But there’s something even bigger to look forward to. In December, players will also be granted access to a beta version of Halo 5: Guardians.
