Famed Windows phone app developer turned Dropbox employee Rudy Huyn took to twitter today to announce an update for Dropbox on Windows 10 Mobile.

The update contains both optimization for Windows 10 Mobile and new features like advanced support of Continuum for phones. Rudy’s full changelog for Dropbox version 4.1 includes:

  • Optimized and updated for Windows 10 mobile
  • Advanced support of Continuum for phones
  • View the app in landscape mode on your phone
  • Switch between sections using gestures on tablets

Today’s update comes on the heels of the recent release of the Dropbox mobile app. The app first launched with support for Windows Hello integration, along with other popular Dropbox features such as commenting directly on files and jump lists. The continued support for their Universal Windows App makes Dropbox a strong feature-rich competitor to Microsoft’s native OneDrive cloud storage solution.
