Dropbox rolls out updated Android and iOS apps with Microsoft Office integration

Following the announcement from Microsoft and Dropbox on November 4th, Dropbox has finally rolled out an update to their apps for Android and iOS. This update adds integration with Microsoft’s Office productivity suite. Here is what the company had to say:

“The new Dropbox and Microsoft Office integrations are here! Now it’s easy to work on the Office files you’ve stored in Dropbox even when you’re on the go – you can edit them from the Dropbox app, and access them directly from the Office apps. The new features are available today for Android phone and iOS users.”

All you have to do is download the updated Dropbox app for iPhone, iPad, or Android. Then open any Office document, spreadsheet, or presentation in your Dropbox. You can then tap the new Edit icon to start editing using your favorite Office apps. Once you are done editing, your files are saved back to Dropbox.

Grab the updated apps via the download links below.
