Dr. Web introduces version 9. 01 for microsoft exchange

Russian security firm Dr. Web not only produces solid security products, but also is known for its research into various threats as they make their way into the wild. However, the latest news coming out of the company surrounds Microsoft and its enterprise software.

Dr. Web has announced the release of version 9.01 of its Exchange server security software. This latest iteration includes the ability to update older versions of the anti-virus, going back as far as 5.0. “The update also improves the stability and reliability of Dr.Web for MS Exchange. Known defects have been corrected”, the company notes.

The software also scans all incoming and outgoing messages, filters and blocks spam, isolates suspicious items, allows for easy management of clients, log events and collect statistics. 9.01 also resolves some bugs contained in the previous version. You can read the full release notes here.
