Music lovers, listen up! Microsoft has just released Music Deals, an app that gives you access to 101 top albums for less than $2 each. As of now, it is available for Windows 8.x PCs and tablets, and Windows Phone 8 and 8.1.

\

The Music Deals app will notify you of all the cool weekly promotions on new and classic albums. Microsoft says that it will refresh the app every Tuesday to bring the most updated top 101 albums to users. Some debut albums will be priced at $0.99, while timeless classics will be sold for $1.99.

\

The application will embrace the Modern UI’s Live Tiles icons. The Music Deals app will give you Live Tile updates and push notifications as soon as new deals are available. Purchasing an album is easy too, just tap on the album icon and it will take you to the Xbox Music app to initiate the process and begin the download.
