Digital gift cards make modern gift giving easy and convient

\

Giving gift cards has gotten easier now with Microsoft’s digital gift cards. These essentially the same as physical gift cards but can be purchased and given digitally. The gift cards can be used in Xbox or Window Stores, and that means Windows and Windows Phone. This is an easy and convenient way to give digital gifts, and no physical card can get lost.

\

Just in time for the holidays, Microsoft makes it easy to buy and send gift cards to friends, family, and anyone who’s email you have. Sending the gift card is easy — simply purchase an amount, add a personal note, pick the contact from your phone’s address book, pick a delivery date, and send. The lucky gift card receiver can choose what they want to spend the balance on any content available via Xbox or Windows devices.

There is a huge range of content which can be purchased via this single card. Music, TV shows, movies, apps, Xbox games, or in-app purchases. The balance is applied to the recipient’s Microsoft account which can be chosen as the payment method when making purchases. The gift balance never expires and there are no service fees associated with using it. If someone you know has an Xbox or Windows device, this is a great and easy way to give them their choice from a huge range of content options.
