Destiny beta to hit Xbox One and Xbox 360 in July

Xbox One owners have been doing very well of late, and the stream of top-notch titles shows no sign of letting up. One of the next releases on the horizon is the beta version of Destiny from Budgie and as is becoming increasingly common, a beta version will be made available ahead of the official launch.

Destiny is an intriguing-looking title which has stirred up a great deal of interest. From the same stables as Halo, this is a cinematic, action-packed adventure with a variety of gameplay modes.

“Destiny features a massive open world for players to explore – solo, with friends, or with matchmade players – that’s chock full of dynamic events, intense firefights, and more sweet loot than you’ll know what to do with. Along the way, you’ll create and customize the hero of your choice using the game’s robust character editor, explore the outer reaches of the universe, and, just maybe, take care of those pesky Wizards on the moon.”

If you want to be involved, you’ll need to pre-order a copy of the game for either Xbox One or Xbox 360. Destiny is released on September 9, but beta access will open up some time next month. Keep an eye on the game website for more details, but we’ll be sure to let you know of any updates.
