Despite its partnership with Microsoft, CNN commentators are more interested in using their iPad

Despite CNN's partnership with Microsoft, its commentators are more interested in using their iPad

Earlier this year, sports commentators in an NFL game kept on referring to the Surface as “iPad-like tools”. Now we have another such mishap happening. During the ongoing election coverage, the Redmond-based giant provided the CNN commentators with its Surface Pro 3 tablets, but many of them appeared to be more interested in iPads, which was concealed behind the Surface tablet.

The company announced its partnership with CNN last month as part of which, the commentators are supplied with a handful of its devices to be used during the election coverage. However, to its dismay many commentators were found using iPads. We’re sure that’s not Microsoft would have wanted.

In August, Microsoft inked a $400 million deal with the NFL to make its Surface Pro 3 tablet the official tablet of the league. However, NFL commentators kept on forgetting the name of the device and called it “iPad like tools”.
