Despicable Me Minion Rush game hits the Windows Phone Store

Despicable Me 2 is now available on DVD and Blu-ray and to tie in with the launch, the fast-paced game Despicable Me: Minion Rush launches on Windows Phone. The game is available free of charge and sees you playing as one of the adorable Minions as they battle to impress Gru, your boss.

The games features a new villain as well as Vector and the title draws inspiration from both of the Despicable Me movies. Featuring superb, cartoony 3D graphics, this might be a game that instantly appeals to children, but it is likely to attract a fewer older kids as well!

Your Minion can be customized with weapons, power-ups and costumes, and you can show off your skills to your friends by sharing your high scores.

There are hundreds of levels to play through — grab yourself a copy and see what you think! It’s fun, fast and silly; what more could you ask for?
