Desktop app converter turns Win32 apps into Universal Windows Apps

Build 2016 is officially underway, and we’re live at the event. Microsoft is presenting the latest tools and technologies, and how they can help today’s developers be their most creative and productive.

At the event, Microsoft has announced a converter for Win32 apps and games. This converts regular desktop programs into centennial modern desktop apps which can be submitted to the Windows Store. The app code runs with very minimal changes. It takes an existing installer, be it a .exe or .msi and converts it into a modern desktop app.
